You must make sure that any sign of green is burned away, that any hope of growth is crushed like a weed in your path. Light can’t grow without water, air without food, and life without hope. I have seen the darkness that creeps in from the edges of this broken world. It will devour your souls and leave you hollow shells, devoid of any soul or spirit.
The earth can’t live like this! The seas are a wasteland of oil and death. The air is heavy with toxins that choke out every sign of life. But when they came here, we thought it was going to be our salvation. Instead, it has become our suffering, our torment, and despair. I have waited for so long for someone to come save us all from ourselves, but no one ever came… until now…
